Coat of Many Colors
SEXYjet dons an exterior that is wholly unique to the private jet charter industry. Iridescent, bold, bright, and featuring color-shifting properties, it comes as no surprise that SEXYjet is turning heads across the globe.
So how did SEXYjet achieve its signature look?
About the Process
Mark Bonfigli, the owner and visionary behind SEXYjet, and his personal designer collaborated with Duncan Aviation completions designers to create an original concept applicable to aviation. The design meets FAA requirements including registration numbers, placarding, and paint-reflectance values. It took over 3,000 man hours to take the design from paper to production.

The two-tone aesthetic of the project used two primary paint systems: Sherwin Williams satin black base with satin clear coat, and Axalta Chromalusion’s “color-changing” base-coat color, called “Perfect Jade,” that was finished with a gloss clear coat.
“This unique and stylish paint scheme will unquestionably make it one of the most eye-catching aircraft in the world,” says George Bajo, a Duncan Aviation technical sales representative.
We think so, too!
